About our Club
About our Club
With the environmental challenges facing our world today who wouldn’t want their child to find science fun and engaging? That’s why Mother Nature Science After-School Club helps children achieve this by exploring a wide variety of scientific topics which are as fun as they are educational.
Inspire Young Scientists with Mother Nature Science!
Our highly acclaimed STEAM After-School Club for children years Reception to Year 6 combines hands-on learning with Fun, Safety and Education. Each after-school lesson is designed to be both exciting and educational, giving pupils the opportunity to explore Curriculum-linked experiments across Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Best of all, children take home the cool science items they’ve made, reinforcing what they’ve learned and sparking curiosity long after the club ends.
Lessons
With six unique ‘Science Systems,’ we provide two full years of fresh topics, all curriculum-linked, with no repeats. Every term offers new experiments and concepts that align with STEAM principles, ensuring children stay engaged and excited about science. Whether it’s creating bubbling chemical reactions or building their own cardboard inventions, every session offers something new to discover, supporting both academic growth and creativity. We have full Public Liability Insurance, and all sessions are Risk Assessed. – see our termly Systems Here

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. Our staff are Enhanced DBS-checked we are fully insured, and trained to uphold a robust safeguarding policy, ensuring your child is in good hands. Parents and schools can feel confident knowing we prioritise the well-being and safety of every pupil.

Interview with Lynne Summer, Headteacher The Breakspear School, and Mother Nature Science
A: The school was extremely happy to continue working with Mother Nature Science as we always found them to be both personable and professional – always taking the needs of the children into account as well as respecting the ethos and expectations of the parents and school.
The children really enjoyed the interactive and highly practical and informative sessions; these, in turn, reinforced and added to the learning both at school and home. The sessions were extremely well planned, delivered and the instructors took time to really get to know the children and cater to their individual needs and interests.
The club was so well received that we were able to increase the provision from 1 session a week to 3 sessions a week!
A: I can think of 2 children, in particular with very different needs. One child who was wary of changes in routine and experienced anxiety with establishing new relationships found the lessons very interesting and highly enjoyable. This child was, through the successful working partnership of the School and the Mother Nature Science instructor, able to access a great learning experience which supported his intellectual as well as social and emotional needs. The other child responded well to the sessions as they promoted his self-esteem as well as providing him with mentally stimulating activities. For both children, the sessions stimulated their natural curiosity, promoted their self-confidence and provided an opportunity, outside the school classroom, to both learn and establish effective relationships with other children and adults.
